At the start or end of an immersive day of learning, find yourself a quiet daybed by the water, gather around the long dining table under tropical stars, or watching the sun sink over the lagoon from the private wooden jetty.

When do I need to arrive/depart Casa Maya Kaan?
Planning your arrival
Students are required to arrive at Casa Maya Kaan on Sunday 11th October, late afternoon.
If you are flying in, we recommend arriving in Cancun by midday Sunday, to ensure plenty of time to transfer to Casa Maya Kaan. Transfer time from Cancun is approximately 2.5 hours, from Tulum is approximately 1 hour.
Check in is from 3pm, allowing time to settle before the course begins on Monday 12 October.
Planning your Departure
The final course day is Thursday 15th October.
All student departures are to be scheduled on Friday 16 October with checkout at 11am.
Please allow adequate time for transfer back to Tulum or Cancun when booking return flights.
Late checkout from Casa Maya Kaan will not be available.
How do I book my accommodation?
Accommodation packages include 5 nights’ stay, with all meals and beverages included throughout the course duration.
Packages start from USD $1,065 per person.
You will receive a link to WeTravel once your application is approved. Accommodation is limited and on a first come, first served basis.
Booking your flights, visas and transfers
All students are responsible for your own flights, accommodation and transfers. Once your place is confirmed and accommodation booked, the resort team will be in touch to assist with organising your transfers, if needed.
Are there any required prerequisites for Level One In-Person?
Yes. Before your Spinal Energetics course begins, you must have attended at least one one-on-one Spinal Energetics session. This session may be in person or online.
The cost of this appointment is not included in the course fee and depends on the individual practitioner's rates. You can view practitioners and book through HQ here.
Once enrolled, you will receive immediate access to our Spinal Energetics Welcome portal. The portal contains the information and resources you need to prepare for the course, including payment information, the prerequisite handbook and other pre-course material.
Will I be a certified Spinal Energetics practitioner at the end of the four days?
Attendance at the four-day course alone does not automatically grant practitioner status.
Upon successful completion of the course and the required final assessment, you will receive a Completion of Course certificate and access to our Practitioner Hub. Once the relevant requirements have been successfully met, you may begin offering one-on-one Spinal Energetics sessions within the scope taught at Level One.
Completion is assessed on a case-by-case basis. The purpose of assessment is to ensure that participants have demonstrated the required understanding and practical competency rather than treating attendance alone as qualification.
How long will I have to wait for my application to be approved?
Please allow up to three business days for your application to be processed.
We recommend applying as early as possible, particularly for courses with limited capacity. In-person intake sizes are capped, so availability may change as applications are approved.
How are applications approved?
Each application is reviewed by our admissions team. We consider factors including qualifications, relevant experience, professional background and the information provided in your personal statement.
Meeting one prerequisite does not automatically determine the outcome. Applications are considered as a whole and in relation to the requirements of the course format.
We receive applications from many strong candidates and course places are limited, so we are not always able to accommodate every applicant who may otherwise be suitable.
Is payment through instalments available?
Yes, payment by instalments is available.
The full course fee must be paid 21 days before the start date of your course intake. Please refer to your enrolment information for the applicable instalment schedule and payment terms.
Is Spinal Energetics a trauma-informed course?
No. Spinal Energetics training is not a trauma-informed qualification and has never been represented as one.
Practitioners are expected to understand the boundaries of their own qualifications and professional scope and to undertake additional training where needed.
Where a client's needs fall outside the practitioner's qualifications, it is the practitioner's responsibility to recognise this and refer appropriately. Spinal Energetics Level One does not replace professional trauma training.
Can I teach Spinal Energetics to others after the course?
No. This course does not teach or authorise you to teach Spinal Energetics to other practitioners or members of the public.
The course is designed to teach you how to practise Spinal Energetics within the scope of the selected course. Teaching the modality, its processes or its training material requires separate authorisation and is not included in the practitioner training.
