Learn Spinal Energetics Level One in a sacred setting, nestled in a UNESCO World Heritage site in Tulum, Mexico.
Over 4 immersive days, you will learn the beautiful energy modality that is Spinal Energetics, bridging body science, nervous system regulation and innate energetic intelligence with creator and founder, Dr Sarah Jane and her master teaching team, Heidi and Pat.
This is an experience we’ve never brought to life before, exclusively held and set between a pristine hidden cove and wilderness sanctuary. Where you will settle in, learn and integrate for the duration of the course.

During the course, students will stay here at Casa Maya Kaan: in and amongst nature, sharing the experience, meals and communal spaces. Creating a more immersive field and connective experience for everyone.

Students are required to arrive at Casa Maya Kaan on Sunday 11th October, late afternoon.
If you are flying in, we recommend arriving in Cancun by midday Sunday, to ensure plenty of time to transfer to Casa Maya Kaan. Transfer time from Cancun is approximately 2.5 hours, from Tulum is approximately 1 hour.
Check in is from 3pm, allowing time to settle before the course begins on Monday 12 October.

Learn, practice and integrate
Over four immersive days, from Monday to Thursday, you’ll dive into the core of Spinal Energetics with Dr Sarah Jane and her teaching team with Heidi and Pat. This is where the theory becomes lived practice.
You’ll:
Understand how the nervous system, fascia, and tension patterns are connected
Learn and apply the signature assessment: observation, touch, posture
Map the major and minor spines and explore their meaning
Work experientially with the five energetic layers and six processes
Practice hands-on and hands-off techniques with safety and clinical awareness
Apply concepts in real time with peers and receive live feedback
Alongside instruction, the experience includes:
A live group session facilitated by the teaching team
Personalised support with a low student to teacher ratio
Deep embodied learning so that you’re skill building.
At the end of each day you are invited to rest and dine, connect with your fellow students and enjoy the surrounding nature.
Please note: There are no 1:1 sessions available with teachers during or after the course.
Our teaching team is fully dedicated to holding the group experience, and the nature of this work, combined with the travel and delivery of the course, requires their energy to remain focused on the collective container.

This extraordinary private estate sits on a pristine white-sand cove at the edge of an emerald lagoon, framed by untamed jungle thick with birdsong and the whisper of swaying palms. This is where we will settle, engage, learn and integrate.
The open-concept residence honours the ancient energy of the land, and every corner invites you to slow down and arrive fully. At the start or end of an immersive day of learning, find yourself a quiet daybed by the water, gather around the long dining table under tropical stars, or watching the sun sink over the lagoon from the private wooden jetty.

This is a selective training process.
We prioritise applicants with a background in health, mental health, bodywork, or related fields.
Successful completion of Level One enables practitioners to begin offering Spinal Energetics sessions and to progress to further levels of certification.
Our students include psychologists, trauma therapists, integrative GPs, nurses, osteopaths, somatic therapists, yoga therapists, acupuncturists, chiropractors and emerging practitioners seeking a deeper integrative framework.

Throughout the course, you will be engaging in both giving and receiving sessions with fellow students. You will experience a group Spinal Energetics session conducted by Dr Sarah Jane and her team.
To ensure full participation, it's essential that you are in good psychological and physical health. By applying, you affirm that you are in a stable and balanced state, ready to engage wholeheartedly.
We kindly ask that you fully disclose any factors that may impact your participation. We reserve the right to withdraw your participation if these considerations are not shared with us.

This training is application-only. Each applicant is carefully reviewed for readiness, professional background, and alignment with the values of this work. We uphold the highest standards of education and integrity.

Your application will be assessed, which may take up to 14 days, due to the number of applications and care we take in assessing each one.
If your application is approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email with next steps and a destination booklet outlining the resort and accommodation options.
Your place in the course is secured once your non-refundable deposit of USD$500 has been received. At that point, we’ll send your official acceptance along with access to the WeTravel portal where you can view accommodation options and make your booking. -

We urge you to apply as soon as possible given our intake capacity is capped at 30 people for our in-person courses, and this is a first of its kind experience in Mexico.

Our admissions committee carefully review each application and consider various factors, such as qualifications, relevant experience, and personal statements.
Unfortunately, we have to make tough decisions based on the overall fit of applicants within the course.
Each decision is not solely based on one factor but is a result of the overall evaluation of all applicants. We receive a considerable number of exceptional candidates, and unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate all qualified individuals.

Upon successful completion of the course and final exam, you will be provided with a Completion of Course certificate and granted access to our Practitioner Hub, allowing you to offer one-on-one sessions and continue your learning journey.
Qualification is determined on a case-by-case basis and only upon successful completion of the course and final exam.

No, this course does not cover the skills required to teach any part of Spinal Energetics to others.

Yes, but only after you have gained experience, a minimum of 6 months.
Upon meeting this milestone, we can provide you with access to our Group Sessions Module within the Practitioner Hub.

Travel & Logistics to and from Mexico

All students are responsible for your own flights, accommodation and transfers. Once your place is confirmed and accommodation booked, the resort team will be in touch to assist with organising your transfers, if needed.
